Hide secret text in zero-width characters

📦100% browser-local· processing in browser, no upload

Zero-width characters are invisible Unicode characters. This tool encodes your secret message into binary using 4 types of zero-width characters embedded in normal text — the visible text looks completely normal, but copy-paste carries the hidden content. Use cases: document anti-piracy watermarks, copyright marks, steganography. Note: some platforms (e.g. WeChat) strip zero-width characters; best used in web pages, emails, or code comments.

Zero-Width Watermark: Anti-Theft + Steganography

Typical scenarios: ① add an invisible watermark to documents or emails to track the source of leaks; ② pass information covertly; ③ detect whether an article has been reposted.

How to use: enter the message to hide and the cover text, click Embed to generate text with the invisible watermark. Paste that text into the Extract box with the same key to recover the message.

Notes: ① the watermark is invisible but not encryption — anyone who knows the principle can still extract it; ② some platforms auto-filter these characters, so distribution there may lose the watermark; ③ embed a different watermark for each recipient to make tracing easier afterwards.
