Excel to PDF: Keep Your Formatting
Save-as-PDF often breaks pagination or cuts off forms. A few settings preserve the layout.
1. Print Area
Select the range to export, then Page Layout → Print Area → Set Print Area.
2. Fit to One Page
Page Layout → Scale to Fit, set both width and height to "1 page".
3. Repeat Title Rows
Page Layout → Print Titles → Rows to repeat at top — headers appear on every page.
Common Issues
- Wide table cut off? Use "Fit 1 page wide" + multiple pages tall
- Fonts changed? Use embedded or standard fonts
